Eduardo Tubig Mutuc was born on October 12th, 1949 in Apalit in Pampanga, raised with nine siblings, and assisted his parents in farming. As an adult, he kept working as a farmer. He started as an apprentice to carvers of household furniture at 29. He is a Kapampangan Manliklikha ng Bayan Awardee who specializes in metalsmithing and sculpting religious and secular masterpieces with his well-known technique using pinukpuk technique, Eduardo Mutuc!
Eduardo Mutuc's creations require a colossal and expansive artist's impression to make them stand out from afar. Some of his works are displayed in churches and private collections such as detailed retablos, mirrors, altars, and carosas. Fellow Filipino citizens commissioned him to create pieces based on Spanish colonial artworks. Eduardo's peak season ranges before the Holy Week and the month of Christmas.
Mutuc devoted his life to work creations by utilizing silver, bronze, and wood infused with his ideas from his inspiration based on traditional secular and religious art designs.

“Pukpuk Silver Artwork”
It is a piece of art with the rest of Manlilikha ng Bayan's output. Also known prior to the advent of history. The designs have been engraved by working on the metal against the wooden block.

Agsam Fern Weavings
Pendants made by Eduardo are reminiscent of the ancient gold jewelry that was unintentionally discovered in Surigao in the early 1980s. The remarkable collection is regarded as a significant archeological find that showed the advanced jewelry-making methods used in the Asian region long before Western explorers arrived.

Eduardo Mutuc is featured in a unique collaborative collection by Agsam Fashion Fern Accessories. The National Council for Culture and the Arts gave Eduardo, a well-known craftsman from Pampanga, the National Living Treasures Award back in 2004.
